Q: What is the difference between organic and organic label?
A: We speak of an organic product when a certain percentage of ingredients of organic origin is present in the formula.
The BIO label is the recognition given by a certifying body. Please note that each label has its own charter of commitments.
Q: Can I say that it is organic without a label?
A: Yes, it is possible to mention it in writing only if you are talking about an organic ingredient.
However, you cannot write it for a finished product unless it is made up of 100% organically produced ingredients.
If you want to put the organic logo on your product, it is compulsory to have it certified.
Q: How are your suppliers chosen?
A: We are careful about the choice of our suppliers.
For all raw materials, we require a certificate of analysis from our supplier in order to verify their conformity.
Whenever possible, we select French suppliers.
Q: What is a claim and a use test?
A: A claim is a verified marketing argument that can be put on the product label. It must be proven by a use test.
For example, for our anti-ageing range, we had tests carried out on a panel of testers. During the feedback, the term "anti-ageing" came up enough to be considered a proven claim.
Q: Do I have to choose a packaging from your range?
A: No, you can source packaging from another supplier. BIOTIC Phocea can package your formulas in your own packaging. A pack test will have to be carried out to check the compatibility of the packaging/formula.
